over breaking news from Congress to the courts while interning for multimedia news outlets. PR interns
sharpen strategic communication skills and make an impact on pressing policy issues.
TFAS interns contribute to important projects and
initiatives across the city. Picture yourself working on
one of these exciting projects:
Witnessing democracy in action by reporting on the
steps of the Supreme Court as protesters exercise
their first amendment rights.
Crafting impactful campaigns by planning and
developing social media strategies for clients at a
dynamic D.C. PR firm.
Gaining behind-the-scenes insights by talking with a
Capitol Hill staffer off the record about an FBI
investigation.
Gaining exclusive access and insights by attending a
national security press conference at the
Pentagon.
Building valuable connections and learning from
the best by meeting experienced reporters at a lunch
at The National Press Club.
Theirsay, PR Intern

Location: Deep River, CT and/or virtual
Pay: $15/hr
Theirsay, a Connecticut PR firm specializing in B2B and tech representing industry leaders in fields such as outdoors, healthcare, law, accounting and more is seeking an intern to assist with:
- News media research
- Pitching stories and coordinating coverage
- Writing press releases, articles and social media posts
Applicants must have excellent grammar and writing skills. Experience with LinkedIn and Twitter required. Basic design skills considered a plus. Bonus points if you like to camp, as one of the accounts you’ll work on will be camping info and booking app The Dyrt.
In this position, you will have the chance to work on a variety of different client accounts. You will be able to have input on PR strategy and execution.
Our team is mostly remote but you are welcome to work at our Deep River, CT, office. We have snacks.
