Your Role Accountabilities

Duties could include:

  • Hands-on work and mentorship from passionate, talented team members journalism
  • Reporting and writing multiple news stories every week on deadlines and receiving a byline for those stories

What to know before applying:

The duration of the summer program regardless of which start/end option is 11 weeks.

Program date options:

Option 1: June 1st – August 14th

Option 2: June 8th – August 21st

  • Interns will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity
  • Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
  • Interviewing will take place from mid February through early-April. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.
  • On December 5, Netflix and Warner Bros. Intern – Live Production, WWE – Stamford, CT- WWE Headquarters (May 18th: Program start date)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in producing of live broadcasts for RAW on location on the road on a weekly basis
  • This intern will have the opportunity to travel and work on the shows, primarily Monday Night RAW
  • Provide support to Remote Based Graphics team – research and develop statistics that support on-air broadcast
  • Work on the Avid edit system to pull clips, isolate moments, and organize elements that support the live on-air broadcast
  • Assist in producing of Post-Shows, studio based shows, and preparation for live broadcasts of RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and Premium Live Events
  • Learn and develop techniques both backstage and in production truck on live broadcasts

Qualifications

  • Ability to listen and absorb, some level of technical awareness with cameras, editing, graphics, and/or other live production elements.
  • Interest in a career in live production
  • Flexible, eager to learn, and gain experience on a live production
  • Experience related to live show production through prior internships and/or work experience a plus
  • Able to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work nights and holidays
  • Willingness to travel on the road and be away 2 nights/week in assisting live programming on location

Travel

  • Must be willing to travel weekly, Sunday through Tuesday to have the amazing opportunity to travel with the road and production crew for shows.

Program Details

We offer internship opportunities across IMG, On Location, Professional Bull Riders (PBR), TKO Corporate, UFC, and WWE. Locations include New York City, Atlanta, Austin, Raleigh, Dallas, Fort Worth, Las Vegas, and Stamford, CT. All internships are in the office and in-person, unless otherwise noted.

In addition to hands-on experience and exposure to the global sports and entertainment industry, interns participate in events such as welcome/farewell sessions, a speaker series featuring company leaders, and career training workshops addressing everything from LinkedIn profile enhancement to resume building, interviewing skills, and networking.

Internships are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, or standard local working hours in the intern location.

Important Dates

  • By February 2nd: Internships are posted to our career sites.
  • February 28th: Applications will be accepted through this date.
  • March 1st to March 27th: Recruiters will contact candidates and begin the interview process.
  • March 30th to April 17th: Offers will be extended to selected candidates.
  • May 18th: Program start date.
  • The program will be 12 weeks in length, May 18th through August 7th

Recruitment Process

Our process consists of four steps.

  • 1. Tell us your story. In addition to your application and resume, please attach a word document and in 300 words max, share why you’re interested in the role. What are the unique perspectives, abilities, and qualities you would bring to the role? What do you hope to learn?
  • 2. Video Interview with a Recruiter. If selected for the next round, you will be contacted by the recruiting team to schedule a 30-minute video interview.
  • 3. Video Interview with the Hiring Manager. If selected to move forward, you will meet with the hiring manager and potentially 1-2 additional team members.
  • 4. Offer or Decline. If selected for the position, a recruiter will call to extend an offer. If you have not been selected, a recruiter will reach out to let you know.

Eligibility

Our program is designed for rising juniors, rising seniors, and those within six months of graduation from an undergraduate university, unless otherwise noted.

SUMMER 2026 COMMUNICATIONS INTERNSHIP – YES NETWORK (NYC) 

 The YES Network, America’s pre-eminent regional sports network, owns the exclusive regional media rights to the 27-time World Champion New York Yankees and the Brooklyn Nets. In addition to live Yankees and Nets games and related pregame and postgame coverage, YES televises numerous Yankees- and Nets-themed original programs such as its Homegrown series, The Stadium, Yankees Magazine and Nets Magazine. The network also airs Yankees minor league games, original biography, interview and magazine programs, college sports and AC Milan soccer. YES has earned 161 Emmy Awards since its 2002 launch. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
