The Hartford Wolf Pack are currently seeking a Game Night Media Assistant to help with social media and broadcasting for the 2022-23 American Hockey League (AHL) season. This will be a hands-on experience, providing the selected person the chance to gain relevant experience in the field.
This position will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager and Manager of Broadcasting and Public Relations throughout the course of the Wolf Pack season.
Tasks associated with this position may include but are not limited to:
• Assist with the arrival of all credentialed scouts and media to each Wolf Pack home game.
• Assist in the production of highlight packages for local and national news outlets.
• Assist with in-game social media responsibilities on platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
Requirements:
• Work ALL Hartford Wolf Pack home games during the 2022-23 season. There are 36 home games during the 2022-23 season. A successful applicant must be willing to work weekends, holidays and nights.
• Strong knowledge of Social Media Platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok), Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and After Effects).
• A strong hockey knowledge and interest in the game is highly recommended and encouraged for this position.
• A strong written ability. The selected intern will have multiple writing opportunities on the team’s official website.
• The selected applicant must conduct themselves with a professional attitude and appearance at all times while at the XL Center.
• A strong verbal/broadcasting ability is not required but is encouraged.
