Marketing Internship Jordon Porco Foundation

The mission of the Jordan Porco Foundation (JPF) is to prevent suicide, promote mental health, and create a message of hope for young adults.

The Jordan Porco Foundation (JPF) is looking for a qualified intern to join our Development team to help identify and target EGamers and TIK TOK influencers to support the mission of the Jordan Porco Foundation on their respective fundraising platforms. The selected candidate will gain valuable experience in mental health and suicide prevention during their internship.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Increase the number of TIK TOK Followers
  • Participate in JPF sponsored events for livestream marketing
  • Increase the number of Tiltify and Twitch followers
  • Partner with similar organizations on the above-mentioned social media platforms to boost exposure

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Degree (in progress ) in strategic marketing
  • Willingness to learn about safe messaging and upstream prevention strategies for social media platforms
  • Work collaboratively with JPF Team members
  • Participate in fundraising activities in an effort to live-stream events

Start Date: Position open until filled. Requires 3-9 month commitment.

Scheduling: Intern will be expected to work 15 hours per week, sometime between the hours of
9:00am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday, and occasionally on the weekends for events.

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.

You are eligible to apply for an EBF Internship if you meet ALL of the following:

  • Are a student of color (Asian, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Black, Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, or Multi-Racial)
  • Are a graduating high school senior OR an undergraduate college student (undergraduates graduating in Spring 2023 are eligible to apply)
  • Plan to attend or are currently a student at a four-year accredited U.S. college or university (This includes students who will transfer to a four-year accredited U.S. college or university in Spring 2023 or Fall 2023)
  • Have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0
  • Are interested in pursuing a career in media and tech
  • Are a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident
