We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Production Intern to join our dynamic team in Berlin, CT. This is the perfect opportunity if you’re looking to gain hands-on experience in video production starting from conceptualization, through the production phase, to the final editing process. This position reports directly to our Team Leader in Instructional Design.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the video production team in the creation of video content;
- Collaborate in pre-production tasks such as planning, scriptwriting, and storyboarding;
- Participate in the set-up, operation, and maintenance of equipment on location or in the studio;
- Assist with post-production tasks including video editing, color grading, and sound design;
- Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions for new video concepts;
- Maintain an organized video library and manage files;
- Stay knowledgeable about latest video techniques and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, or a related field;
- Basic understanding of video production process including pre-production, production, and post-production;
- Familiarity with video and photo editing software Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, etc.;
- Ability to handle video equipment properly;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
- A passion for video content creation, storytelling, and media production.
