Film Haven

As we gear up for the upcoming Spring Semester, we are actively seeking two interns to join our dynamic team. An intern to primarily focus on Marketing and one for Business Leads and Sales Generation. I would greatly appreciate it if you could share the attached internship poster and accompanying information with potential candidates who may be interested.

This internship, though unpaid, offers valuable college credit. Interns will typically dedicate three full virtual days a week to collaborate with our team, with occasional in-person engagements. What sets this opportunity apart is our unique commission structure – for every successful opportunity they contribute to, interns will earn a percentage of our profit margin upon the receipt of a deposit. We believe in providing a holistic learning experience, where interns are integral members of our team, contributing creatively and strategically.

The diverse range of tasks includes active participation in creative decision-making, social media planning, research and data aggregation, sales and lead pursuits, presentation design, and more. We value the educational exchange between our team and interns, fostering an environment where they are not just additional hands during busy periods but essential contributors to our collective success.

We aim to commence onboarding by mid-January, making this an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain practical experience in a dynamic and growing industry.

Research Internships (Summer 2024, Hybrid- NYC)

College students, start your career at the forefront of culture and conversation and work for entertainment’s most iconic brands! Our Summer Internship Program offers endless ways to explore careers through an immersive 10-week, well-rounded paid program that encourages students to bring their passions and insights to work. Most importantly, the program acts as a pipeline for future opportunities.

Research teams at Paramount analyze and interpret viewing behavior and content consumption across multiple platforms including linear television, social/digital and streaming services. Research provides key stakeholders with data-driven recommendations and viewing trends to help them make informed decisions. Such stakeholders include Programming, Production & Development, Marketing, Press and Senior Leadership. Research teams use both quantitative and qualitative methods to develop an understanding of each network’s target audience.

Areas of research include, but are not limited to:

  • Linear Analytics- domestic and international television analytics based primarily on Nielsen ratings
  • Social/Digital Analytics- measures our content’s performance on social media, partner platforms and owned/operated sites
  • Consumer Insights- utilizes qualitative means such as focus groups, surveys and brand awareness tracking

Several of these areas have a cross-pollination of multiplatform tracking and measurement, and also incorporate strategic insights to tell data-driven stories.
